Isn't Marley scary?
The actors actually acted out the scenes before they were animated. They wore these suits and had black dots allover their faces with sensors for the computers to be able to animate every little expression.
This is the animated version of the bodies before they put clothes on them.
After the train tour, we got to watch a special 3-D preview with clips from the movie. It actually looks like an awesome movie. I can't wait to see it now.
That day was also Free Museum Day, sponsored by the Smithsonian, with museums allover the country participating. After a quick lunch at Wagamama (my first time there, unique food but really good) in Harvard Square, we headed over to the Harvard Natural History Museum. We started out with their famous display of glass flowers.
I couldn't believe how realistic and detailed the flowers are. They didn't look like glass at all, but as if they were soft and would bend if you touched them.We also enjoyed all the animals from allover the world...
